Concert Staples For Fall

Steeltoes & Stilettos

With so many music festivals like Austin City Limits and local concerts, weekends are easy to fill with music and friends. Dressing for concerts can sometimes be tricky though—dealing with large crowds, indoor/outdoor venues and this Texas weather that likes to switch from winter to summer all in one day are just a few things to keep in mind, so I’ve put together a list of concert staples that’ll work for any event this fall!

1. Shaggy Jackets
They’re a fun accessory to throw on over a tank or band tee and instantly ups any outfit. It can also keep you warm (& stylish) on a chilly night.

2. Clear Bags
With venues and stadiums cracking down on security, many are now only allowing clear or mesh bags inside. You can find some cute options to accessorize your outfit and still follow the rules.

3. Band Tees
Band tees are so easy to pair with distressed denim shorts, jeans, or a suede skirt, and you can find them at most stores nowadays.

4. Hats
These are perfect for all day festivals to keep you cooler from the sun and it’s an easy accessory to combine with any outfit.

5. Leather & Suede Jackets
Love these options that pair well with so much! You look cool while staying warm.

6. Distressed Denim
Denim shorts and jeans are effortlessly paired with any of the options I’ve listed above, and are very versatile. They look great with cowboy boots for country concerts to sneakers for festivals.

7. Comfortable but Stylish Shoes
Booties, boots and sneakers are all mostly comfortable shoes, and work for various types of concerts. Most important to keep in mind when you have to be on your feet for hours at a time, or dancing the night away.

No matter the outfit though, it’s most important to enjoy good music & friends!
